Just realized what I THINK they are doing with Catching Fire regarding the Snow’s granddaughter vs lack of Madge conspiracy (ha ha ha).
Since Madge was never brought in, I believe they are taking the scene (or a rough semblance of it) in Madge’s house when Katniss accidentally sees the uprising on the tv & making it that Katniss is with Snow’s granddaughter when she sees it on his tv. Guessing at the Victory Ball. It would be rather impactful to have it be seen on one of Snow’s tv’s.
I am trying to put myself in the shoes of someone who didn’t read it. Ok, I am not actually TRYING. I just flat out asked my hubby what he thought was/would happen He said “Rue’s death caused the people to rise up. Obviously she is going to get screwed again based on you & Hunter both yelling how jacked up this was…and the crying”. So he knows there is an uprising without having to be spoon-fed it. He knows something is going on. He also admitted that Katniss is rather naive common sense wise. So I don’t think that they will need a whole huge segment for people to “get it”. I think just a blip to drive home the point that Katniss just realized what “effect she has on people”.
