Helpful hint from The Chew:
Make friends with your local butcher (or produce person)…or both!! If you know them by name & they begin to know you they will get you the best cuts of meat, sometimes take the sale item & cut it special for you, or let you know about deals. Same with produce.
**My note: Doesn’t have to be at an actual meat market. We know the butchers at Winn Dixie, our local store Hitchcocks, and the local mini-market. Go to the meat department first that way if you have something cut or done special you don’t have to wait. You can get the rest of your stuff & either swing back by or sometimes they bring it out to you**
