THIS was on the road warming himself on the way back from dropping the kids at youth group. Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. He was very long & has been eating well. I HATE HATE HATE snakes, but I do have to admit, his colors were beautiful. I was so brave….from inside the car!  I looked into his beady eyes & said “you will not make me cry today”
